Wedding Day Inspiration & Experience
Why did you chose the season you did for your Wedding?
Our church is the outdoors. We feel the most connected, inspired, and in love when we are in the great outdoors doing something we love. Whether it be hunting, fishing... or getting married! We chose to get married in July so the weather would be nice and all of out guest could enjoy the fabulous Montana wilderness with us on our wedding day.
Did you have inspiring Elements or story behind your decor?
"Forest meets Glamour" "We both LOVE Montana and are very proud to live here. We both like to fish, hunt, hike, and do pretty much anything outdoors! We wanted our wedding to capture who we are as a couple and incorporate an outdoorsy, rustic, "Montana themed" wedding. I wanted to have lots of greenery and rustic/woodsy touches as well as incorporate huckleberries & a lot of string lights! And it was an absolute dream!
Your favorite Wedding story?
My favorite moment by far... seeing Gavin as I walked down the aisle. We decided to go 24 hours without seeing each other to build up suspense before the ceremony. Our "first look" was me walking down the aisle and he lost it! I didn't notice anything besides him as I was walking down the aisle to my sobbing groom.
What did you love most about your day?
"I wanted it to be classy and gorgeous, but also laid back and relaxing for both me and my guests."
Details: Tell about your Wedding details & what you loved about them?
Our details screamed Montana... from the greenery and elk antlers, to the huckleberry pies, huck-Lee-berry lemon drops, and sliced wood chargers that we made from trees up at our cabin. Our details were elegant, but woodsy and represented us!
