My work as a wedding photographer comes through best when things are planned best! So they are one in the same to me. I LOVE this bridged all-inclusive experience I can now offer my clients and so do my clients, and so will you!
I found myself getting involved with the details when I first started ten years ago in wedding photography. I’ve developed a backwards approach for wedding day plans because the problems couples face I’ve already seen. I’ve been there helping get the bouquets, bustling dresses, fixing the boutonniere, placing the veil, moving tables, keeping timelines on track, and meeting with couples to go over logistics. I’ve dealt hands-on with the entire events of the day, seeing all the visually and logistically correct & incorrect issues. I understand what does and doesn’t matter in the end so I come from a completely different perspective when I approach wedding planning as a photographer.

One word: teamwork! I, Jennifer am the visionary involved in everything! Alexis is your wedding coordinator. We work as a team!
I am emailed most all communication, all contracts, I build the designs, layouts with you & your wedding day itinerary! Per emails important Alexis is cc’d in emails! In the 2 months leading up to your wedding Jennifer contacts/Alexis cc’d on all vendors for all timeline layouts 1-2 weeks prior to wedding.

Here is a simple breakdown!
Venue site visit (Initial in person meeting at venue with Jennifer)
In-between phone/Facetime meetings with Jennifer for planning as needed, per experience booked.
Jennifer & Alexis (and needed team members) work behind the scenes to lay out all details for day-of execution
Month of Logistics - phone conference call/or in person with all 4 of us: Jennifer, Alexis, Bride, Groom - one month/3 weeks prior - go over all last minute logistics.
Final meeting - week of wedding, in person, usually at the rehearsal, 1 hour prior or 1 after after the actual rehearsal to go over all last minute logistics.)
Alexis coordinates the rehearsal, assists with processional, recessional, roles etc.

We understand that there are plenty of planners out there, and they may even fit your vision and needs perfectly! We still love working with other planners - however the original vision why I got into Wedding Planning was to help my brides create their full dream in alignment with the JM brand: with Timelessness, Elegance, Dignity, Finesse & above all incredible teamwork! The JM big vision: we want to bring elegance back into style! From etiquette, communication, fashion, music, dancing, attire, hair styles, makeup, - you name it - we want it back in style. We love and believe in a team, and this seamless collaboration of Wedding Planning & Photography is an absolute beginning to end investment of your wedding vision!

Every wedding we are part of planning you typically can expect to have the following meetings with us:

We will have vendor delivery times locked in usually no later than 1-2 weeks prior to the wedding date and sooner if able. (month-of coordination, full planning, event design)
We work with open communication documents so we all stay updated together!
Our other communication with vendors is based on what experience you choose upon booking, i.e. full planning vs. month-of coordination.

Why did you become a wedding planner?

“I could really go on all day about Jennifer. I had anxiety from the start planning a wedding from across the country, but she put my mind at ease immediately. She was so open and honest with me from the beginning which was a priority for me not knowing anything about vendors in the area. When I asked her which venue I should choose, she helped me understand why one might be better for me than the other. Jennifer was also my wedding planner which couldn't have been more perfect. My fiance and I had been together for 10 years when he proposed and we had never had any sort of photos taken professionally. We aren't very hands on/PDA type of couple so we were actually really nervous before we took our engagement photos. Jennifer made us laugh and we felt SO comfortable with her! The park was on fire during our E photos but Jennifer didn't let that hold her back; we pulled off on the side of the road several times for photos. She hunted for the perfect photo for us. My point here is, Jennifer truly cares. Sure, you can look at a photo and think "wow that's gorgeous!" but now I will always think about who was behind the camera in our photos. Our wedding day was the single most amazing day of my life. She was so cool, calm, and collected, but you could tell she meant business and wasn't going to let anything come in the way of our perfect day. And that, it was. WOW. All of my friends (who also traveled from out of town) immediately told me how much they liked Jennifer and all concurred "you can just tell she knows what she's doing." She got right up on the crazy train that my friends and I were on and took all the photos we wanted, no matter how crazy. She had a special way of making Ford and I feel like we were the only people in the room. She pulled us away for sunset photos and ugh, they are just absolutely perfect. Jennifer is a master of her craft, in every way. Every single one of the vendors she recommended to me knocked it out of the park. All 30 of my guests kept coming up to me all night telling me how spectacular everything was. I only have Jennifer to thank for all of this. She answered emails/texts within MINUTES, even when she was out of the country! I can't tell you how important it is to have someone readily available when you're freaking out on the inside about something wedding related. She gave her honest opinion about everything I pitched to her, and matched my theme so well. I still have trouble not crying when I look at our wedding album. When all my family and friends saw our album, they were blown away and sang high praises of Jennifer and couldn't believe how perfect they were. Our parents loved Jennifer and continued to say how professional she was. Jennifer, I am forever in your debt. I could never have imagined a more perfect day. I just want to do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing! "I had the time of my life, and I owe it all to you!"
